Company 10 will break ground in mid-December 2006 and will be finished in January 2008. This combined Fire/Rescue station will be located in the Salem Fields area. Upon completion, the current Company/Station 5 will move personnel and equipment over to this location. Company 5 will be leveled off where a brand new Company/Station 5 will be built.

Company 10 will be staffed with the career/volunteer system that currently is present throughout the county. From 0500 - 1800 M-F, Spotyslvania Fire and Rescue will staff this building. All nights and weekends will be staffed by Chancellor Volunteer Fire and Rescue. Fire and Rescue personnel will staff Company 10 24/7 upon its completion.
