Originally consisting of 6 members, the Chancellor Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department (CVFR) formed the Honor Guard in April 2006. In just over 2 years, the Honor Guard has gained 3 additional team members, which includes 2 bagpipers.

As representatives of CVFR, the team's dedication & determination exemplifies true volunteerism and the strong desire to provide for our community. The CVFR Honor Guard takes great pride in participating at various events and functions within both the local and surrounding areas. Below is a brief list of some of the events that the Honor Guard frequently contributes towards:

• Banquets
• Opening Ceremonies of Conventions
• Parades
• Fire Department Functions
• Full Honor Funerals

Both the Honor Guard and Bagpipers are available to participate at your event or function. As a volunteer organization, all donations are greatly appreciated and contribute towards the uniforms and equipment of CVFR.
