The Chancellor Volunteer Fire & Rescue’s Honor Guard always opens and closes the CVFR annual banquet. Here they are looking good as always at this year’s banquet
At the 2015 banquet, some of Chancellor Volunteer Fire & Rescue’s Honor Guard were given a special award for their big trip to Colorado in July to bring the NEMSMS Tree of Life memorial back to Virginia.
The 2015 Honor Guard Member of the Year was Ryan Passera.
As representatives of CVFR, the team’s dedication & determination exemplifies true volunteerism and the strong desire to provide for our community. The CVFR Honor Guard takes great pride in participating at various events and functions within both the local and surrounding areas. Below is a brief list of some of the events that the Honor Guard frequently contributes towards:
- Banquets
- Opening Ceremonies of Conventions
- Parades
- Fire Department Functions
- Full Honor Funerals
Both the Honor Guard and Bagpipers are available to participate at your event or function. As a volunteer organization, all donations are greatly appreciated and contribute towards the uniforms and equipment of CVFR.
