* Community plans are underway to vaccinate school children, pregnant women and others in high risk groups.

* Free public education materials on H1N1 are available at area health departments and at Central Rappahannock Regional Libraries.

* Internet access? Then just check www.flu.gov for the latest official word on H1N1 self-protection and family preparedness.

* Want to help? Contact the Rappahannock Medical Reserve Corps -- it needs both medical and non-medical volunteers to assist with this Fall's vaccination campaign. Go to: www.medicalreservecorps.us
