The 2010 Fire and Rescue Exemption forms are being distributed to each Company/ Station.
If you are going to request an exemption, you must –
1. Fill out the form completely – incomplete forms will not be accepted.
2. Sign the form.
3. Have your Station Captain or a Chief sign the bottom of the form.
4. It is the responsibility of the member to submit his/her form to the Commissioner of the Revenue Office. The address is at the top of the form, or you can fax to (540) 582-3630 or deliver the form in person to the Commissioner’s Office.
5. Forms will not be accepted before January 1, 2010 and will not be accepted after February 1, 2010.
Please remember, qualifying vehicles must be in the active member’s name and that the vehicle you wish to claim must be titled to you as of January 1, 2010.
