VFCF 3rd Annual Golf Tournament

Good Afternoon
 
As many of you know I have the pleasure of serving as the President and CEO of the Virginia Fire Chiefs Foundation.  I am reaching out to you to make sure you are aware of the Third Annual VFCF Golf Tournament that will be held on June 14, 2013 at Lees Hill Golf Club.  I am reaching out to you to ask for your assistance in several ways:
 
  1. To make sure you are aware of this event and ask for you to share this information with your individual contacts and department staff.
 
  1. If you are able to sponsor a hole or provide other assistance (door prizes) that would be greatly appreciated.
 
  1. Your help in soliciting golfers for the event this year.
 
The shotgun start will be at noon and there will be plenty of great door prizes that will be given away as well as a great BBQ dinner with all the fixings.  Awards will be provided for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams as well as the closest to the pin and longest drive.
 
The goal for this years’ event is $25,000 which is VERY aggressive goal—but with your assistance I am confident we can achieve this goal!!  Will you help me spread the word, sponsor a hole/door prizes, and or secure golfers for this worthy event?
 
The funds raised will be used to provide scholarships for emergency responders or immediate family members as well as the sponsorship of the Virginia Fire Officers Academy!!
